Timber kitchen and dining orangery extension on a flint and brick, barn style property near Brighton

This stunning orangery provided both a dining extension to the kitchen and a light, bright, day room / study extension to the lounge.

Instead of separating the two rooms with a wall, we dropped the kitchen extension back by the width of a brick pillar (approximately 450mm) and installed a lantern central to each room.

We used a combination of reclaimed brick with a flint and stone wall to blend to the orangery seamlessly into the original building.
