A hardwood orangery attached to a single storey cottage near Chichester, West Sussex
We are often asked how a traditional orangery can be attached to a single storey house, with a tiled sloping roof.
In the above example of an orangery on a single storey cottage, after removing the existing conservatory we also took away the roof gable. The orangery roof was scribed into the house roof, and the tiles replaced over leading.
The dwarf wall has second-hand bricks to match the existing house brick.
